Massimiliano Montini is Professor of European Union Law and Sustainable Development Law at the University of Siena (Italy). He holds the Jean Monnet Chair “Circular Economy for the Internal Market” (CE4INT) and he is Rector’s Delegate for European Citizenship, Scientific Coordinator, Europe Direct Centre, University of Siena and Co-Director, R4S Regulation for Sustainability Research Centre, at the University of Siena.
Moreover, he is Vice-Chair of the Ecological Law and Governance Association (ELGA) and Member of several European and international scientific networks (Avosetta, Harmony with Nature, IUCN WCEL, GEIG). His main research interests relate to: European Union law, International Law, Environmental, Climate Change and Sustainable Development Law.
